Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Telecommunicator to join our team at [NGO Name], which is committed to providing free public toilets to underserved communities. The Telecommunicator will play a vital role in our outreach efforts, engaging with stakeholders, promoting awareness of our initiatives, and coordinating communication to support the success of our public toilet program.

Key Responsibilities:
Outreach and Engagement:
- Conduct outbound calls to community members, local authorities, businesses, and potential partners to promote awareness of our free public toilet initiative.
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate the benefits of our program, address inquiries, and solicit support for our mission.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and maintain regular communication to foster collaboration and support.
Information Dissemination:
- Provide accurate and detailed information about our public toilet facilities, including locations, operating hours, accessibility features, and hygiene standards.
- Educate community members on the importance of proper sanitation practices and the impact of access to clean and safe toilet facilities on public health and well-being.
- Respond to inquiries, complaints, and feedback from the public in a professional and timely manner, resolving issues or escalating concerns as necessary.
Appointment Scheduling:
- Schedule appointments for community outreach events, public meetings, and facility tours to promote our public toilet program and engage with stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistics for outreach activities, including venue reservations, transportation arrangements, and materials preparation.
- Follow up with stakeholders to confirm attendance and ensure all necessary arrangements are in place for successful events.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, stakeholder interactions, and community feedback using CRM software or database systems.
- Compile data and generate reports on outreach metrics, including call volume, engagement rates, and outcomes of stakeholder interactions.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of focus for future outreach efforts.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other team members, including community outreach coordinators, program managers, and administrative staff, to support the overall success of our public toilet initiative.
- Share insights, feedback, and best practices with colleagues to enhance the effectiveness of our outreach strategies and communication efforts.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to stay informed about program updates and organizational goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, community outreach, or telecommunication roles is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for engaging with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software for data management and reporting.
- Empathy, patience, and a customer-centric approach to handling inquiries and resolving issues.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
